The ADKofT episode with Shanks was great, and gave some insight into Dave and working with Edward too.  Shanks is still being careful, either because of NDAs or just as a working producer not wanting to share process when discussing the album.  What I wish came up is what was left over, and why the album is not currently available on any streaming service.  Thanks Dweezil for the episode.
