I’m considering installing solar panels but want to hear from those who have already made the switch. Are they really worth it in terms of energy savings? How much have your electricity bills dropped?

What brands or types of panels do you recommend? Also, is battery storage necessary, or is a grid-tied system enough? How do they hold up in extreme weather—heavy snow, strong winds, or cloudy days?

Did you take advantage of any government incentives or rebates? Were there any hidden costs or maintenance issues you didn’t expect?
